WE'RE AT THE FOREFRONT OF council applications

Building on or over public footpaths or public places will require specialised A-Class or B-Class hoardings to be installed for public protection. We will help you navigate the specific council requirements for your project.

A-CLASS HOARDING APPLICATIONS

Building on council footpaths or other public places will require an A-Class hoarding to be installed for public protection. Council requires minimum setbacks, Minimum pedestrian access widths and a list of other requirements for an application approval.

Scaffold designs need to be accurate, detailed and signed by an engineer and submitted with the application.

Scaffold Studio will help you navigate your council specific requirements and will make sure all documentation and standards are correct to ensure a quick and pain free application process.

Our A-Class Hoarding applications are provided with:

  • Onsite inspection of required scaffolding to measure and take photos

  • Detailed scaffold design including Layout, Elevations, sections and required details for engineering and council approval

  • Engineering Sign-off of the design (Design Adequacy Certificate)

  • Council application form provided for you to complete and submit with design and engineering certificate

  • Onsite inspection by engineer after scaffold is installed to issue installation certificate (optional)
